What I have learned from comedian Kevin HartFeb 03, 2022
I have just finished what genuinely may be one of my favorite books of all time.
And the irony is - I didn’t expect to be affected by it so much!
I thought it would be good - as it had got a lot of great reviews - but I did not expect it to be THIS good.
The book is the autobiography of the comedian and actor, Kevin Hart.
His father was a drug addict who was in and out of jail. His brother was a crack dealer and petty thief. And his mother was overwhelmingly strict, beating him with belts, frying pans, and his own toys.
But more so than just being an autobiography - the book really is all life lessons.
A few that he shared include:
"Your problems are designed specifically for you. With the specific purpose of helping you grow."
“you only grow by DOING”
I listened to it on Audible - and it has kept me company and laughing while on my morning fitness regime.
If you are looking for a great new book to read/listen to -- I truly think you will love this one.
